I began my Artistic background in seconday school, taking Art to Leaving Cert Level. After sucessfully completing Print Media and Communications in Cork Institute of Technology, I worked in the Graphic Design field for a number of years. Continuing from this my artistic experience expanded through various Art, Design and Craft classes.

While travelling the World but mainly in Australia, my feel for photography grew in such beautiful surroundings. This continued when I returned to live in Ireland through joining a local Camera Club and also successfully exhibiting Photographs.

Handpainted Lampshades came about from all my previous experience, and gave me the application to be creative and display artwork in a very different way. Since beginning, the Handpainted Lampshades have been very successful, supplying something new and different for clients to display in their homes.

I love working on new designs, especially based on the local flowers, like the Fuchsia. They bring a lovely feel indoors of the outdoor world, whether you are based in the countryside or city.
